Description

A delightful and easy dessert that combines ripe bananas, tangy pineapple, and buttery yellow cake mix for a comforting treat.


Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 can pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Strawberries, sliced for topping
  • Chopped nuts for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Add the sliced bananas and drained pineapple chunks to the bottom of the dish.
  4. Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the fruit.
  5. Pour the melted butter generously over the cake mix.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Cool for about 10 minutes before serving warm with whipped cream, sliced strawberries, and chopped nuts.
